Minimal Waste

The entire development has been constructed with the principle of “adaptive reuse” – using an existing building for a completely new purpose – in mind.

In light of this, recycling of existing materials on site has been a key part of the project since its inception. Recovered materials have been given a new purpose, with minimal waste created during construction. Reused concrete, salvaged bricks and extracted reinforcing were used as the base for structure, while refurbished window panes, stone and wood all found a new home.
